Our Managing Director, Veronica Butler, who founded the company in 2002, comes from an operational background, and has held several senior management positions in leisure management and training. A familiar figure at industry events, she is also on the board of SpaBA, the Spa Business Association, and on the steering committee of the Olive Awards for best practice in the leisure beauty and spa industry, as judged by employees in confidential surveys.
Under Veronica’s guidance, the company soon expanded, first as a specialist consultancy offering quality recruitment services across the UK, and more recently as an international operator responding to the growth of spa and leisure worldwide – particularly in Europe and the Middle East.
RED is now a fully established International recruitment business, servicing clients and candidates around the globe.
Today, Veronica is backed by a growing team of people who share her passion and vision for the industry. And being a red hot recruiter herself, she knows how to pick the best!
Jenny Hall is a highly experienced recruiter having been part of the RED HOT team for 5 years. Jenny is a trained therapist having started her career on board cruise ships before embarking upon her career in spa management and beauty retail. Jenny’s industry experience combined with her warm and fun-loving personality make her a popular choice with both clients and candidates. She has a keen eye for talent and now heads up the spa and beauty division at RED ensuring standards are maintained from a screening; interview and trade test perspective.
Elspeth Thomas is the backbone of the company. She has been with RED since it launched in 2002 and has been instrumental in the growth and development of systems, processes and structure within the business. Elspeth has ensured that RED moves with the times and keeps abreast of technological developments as well as best practice as an employer and recruiter of people.
